Precision measuring is at the heart of everything we do. Merrill Tool’s metrology department is fully equipped with the most current – and most accurate – test devices available. Our in-house services include:

• CMM equipment
• Laser alignment devices
• Rockwell hardness testing equipment
• Surface temperature monitors
• A full range of traditional manual testing equipment such as
  • inspection plates
  • surface measurement checkers
  • bore gauges

All our equipment is calibrated and recertified on recommended schedules. For extremely large parts with complex geometries, we work with a strategic partner who provides laser tracking inspection.
